Facilities



College Library The College has an excellent Library and information Centre, one of the central support services of the institution, which acts as a primary source for information seekers, be it students, faculty or researchers. The library has been carefully designed to maximize natural lighting to the users and provided a comfortable seating and reading environment. The library is well equipped with modem facilities and resources in the form of CD-ROMs online database, video cassettes, books, journals, back volumes of journals, and E-books.
Cyber Center The Cyber centre is part of the Global College of Pharmacy all the students will undergo a familiarization course of accessing the internet, after which the entire world of Information will be on their fingertips. Global College of Pharmacy is one of those very few institutions offering the essential research tool.
Seminar Hall The institute has well furnished seminar hall, equipped with state-of-the-art audio visual equipment like Slide and Film Projectors, OHP’s Video Projectors Cameras, LCD, built-in Audio Systems, Regular guest lectures by dignitaries from India and abroad are conducted. Personality development and Communication skills workshop are organized regularly. We belive in overall development of our candidates.
Hostels
The college provides separate hostel facilities for male and female students. The facility caters to and looks after the needs of students who are from all over the country and abroad. Located conveniently in the proximity of the college, the well furnished hostels are equipped with all modern amenities and are efficiently administered to provide the right atmosphere for student life.
Leisure and Sporting Activities
The college has tie-ups with various clubs and resorts nearby which offer all amenities including swimming, badminton, multi-gym and other facilities. Baseball, table tennis, volley ball, aerobics and hockey facilities are available on the campus. The leisure rooms are an inviting space for students who relax while playing board games, watching TV, listening to music etc.
Cafeteria
Students, staff and guests can avail the facility of the canteen. Simple, sumptuous, hygienic food is provided at in house canteen at subsidised rates.
Medical Services and Health Centre
The college has a modern, well equipped health care centre where the students get medical attention and guidance on health related issues. The college is also registered with reputed hospital close to the campus in case of emergencies or specialized treatment requirements. Regular check-up camps are conducted for all students to monitor their health. 24 hour ambulance facility is provided to serve better.
Couselling Cell
Counseling means ‘Providing advice, support and consultation’ and the Counseling Cell of the College is geared to provide it to the students. College students face important and often difficult decisions. Counselors are available to provide the support necessary for students to achieve success on their lifelong learning journey. Students can be assured of a confidential setting in which to explore their concerns, educational goals, interests or any other problems. Counselors assist students in developing personal skills for success. Counselors are listeners for those who are struggling and voices for those who confide their learning hurdles. Counselors are also available to provide crisis intervention and professional referrals to students. Each teacher is allotted 20 students. Interaction with the students and use of questionnaires are the most potent methods for counseling. Students feel comfortable discussing their problems and the counselors solve them. It has been observed that overall performance in examination improves and their personality is also developed, making the students more confident.
PLACEMENT OBJECTIVE
It is an important and necessary part of a developed and competitive institution like Global College of Pharmacy which is recognized as a one of the most organized, well developed and running pharmacy institutions. The objective of placement cell is to place the students of different branches in well, recognised industries/ institutions situated through out different places in India. This part maintains a goal to develop the career of the students studying in this institution as well as to organize different kind of job opportunities in various organizations. Further to update the knowledge of the students. Thus, Global College of Pharmacy, through its Placement Cell ensure a secure, bright and prosperous future for them.
COLLABORATIONS
Application of pharmacy research in industry needs a lot of studies and our institute is one of the best institutes, working hand in hand with Pharma Industry, professionals in Pharma industries are invited as teachers to share their experiences and train our students with the most re4cent advanced techniques used in industries. Practicals are updated and we have new machineries on par AICTE norms. Students are guided and trained and we carry out standardization of drugs, dissolution studies etc. using our latest models of UV, and dissolution apparatus. Animal experimentation and clinical studies are carried out. At present we have collaboration with Teena Lab, NATCO.<br>
